We are a self-help support group that promotes awareness about Parkinson's to the community.

We are a self-help support group that promotes awareness about Parkinson's to the community. We provide information, education, understanding and encouragement in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to those with Parkinson’s, their family and friends. Our members range from those who have recently been diagnosed to those who have been living with Parkinson's for many years. We come from many backgrounds. Visitors of any age, who may have Parkinson's or are a carer, family member, or friend of someone who has Parkinson's are welcome.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Meetings provide information and education sessions about Parkinson's Disease, local speakers of interest as requested by group members and twice a year the group has a session with a Nurse Consultant or Allied Health Professional from Fight Parkinson's Victoria, all facilitate group discussions on health and well being.
