APOD Family Support Group

The APOD support group offers help and support to the family and friends of individuals dealing with drug, alcohol, and mental health issues. The group provides an opportunity to be with people who have a common purpose and understand each other. The support group helps people feel less lonely, isolated, or judged, and helps with distress, depression, anxiety, or fatigue. We have a fortnightly Zoom meeting to provide education and prevent feelings of isolation. Additionally, we meet face-to-face once a month to share experiences, encourage self-care, and promote balance in caregiving.
