About this event

Guest speakers, Anthony Jones and Paula Adam from the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care, will provide an overview of services and supports available for older people, including the My Aged Care system. 

Topics will include: 

• My Aged Care – what it is, eligibility, how to apply, what to expect, wait times 
• The carer’s role within the My Aged Care system
• Home care services and access 
• Respite services. 

You will have the option to submit a question at the time of registration. The guest speakers will also respond to as many live questions as possible during the session.

Who can attend

This session is open to all carers of older people requiring support.
