Bereavement Payment

A lump sum or short-term payment when your partner, child or the person you were caring for has died.

Better Life Mobile

Carers Victoria has partnered with Better Life Mobile to provide carers, carers' friends and family with low cost mobile plans with unlimited calls. Discounted mobile phone plans by using the partner word: CARERS

Carer Adjustment Payment

A one-off payment if your child under seven gets a severe illness or has a major disability.

Carer Allowance

An additional fortnightly payment if you give daily care to someone who has a disability, serious illness, or is frail aged.

Carer Payment

An income support payment if you give constant care to someone who has a severe disability, illness, or an adult who is frail and old.

Carer Supplement

Paid yearly if you care for a person with a disability or serious illness and receive certain payments.

Child Disability Assistance Payment

The Child Disability Assistance Payment is a $1000 annual payment made for a child with disability under 16 years who attracts a payment of Carer Allowance for their carer.

Companion Card

Companion Card promotes the rights of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at events and venues. Companion card is a National program administered by the state you live in.
