Woodend Lifestyle Carers Group Inc

Woodend Lifestyle Carers Group is a support group for the carers of loved ones living with dementia. It is a registered charity run by volunteers with the sole purpose of providing social and educational support for unpaid carers struggling with the isolation created by the day to day stresses of their caring role. The group supports residents of the whole of the Macedon Ranges and its neighbours.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Social events include: Christmas and Christmas-in-July lunches; coach trips to zoos and museums; picnics and bbqs; film, musical and dancing entertainments; education sessions and regular afternoon teas when members have the opportunity to enjoy general light-hearted conversation.
