The Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre (SMRC) - Support for Carers program is supporting carers and their care recipients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) who live in City of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey, Cardinia Shire and surrounding areas. Our service is designed to give our carers the time they need for their own wellbeing, along with the support they need in the role of a carer.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?
The Support for Carers Program provides individual emotional support, peer support meetings, information sessions, monthly outings, counselling, life coaching. The SCP provides short-term in-home respite care, depending on carers’ and/or care recipients’ needs.
