PRONIA - Brunswick Dementia Carer Support Group

The aim of the program is to enhance carers' wellbeing through connection, education, social interaction with other carers sharing ideas and experiences and create a sense of belonging to encourage them with their caring role.

The program offers weekly telephone support groups for carers, and monthly carer support groups in Victoria and Tasmania.

In Victoria, the monthly carer support groups operate in two different locations in Brunswick and Clayton.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Information sessions, workshops, social outings and excursions.
