Parent & Guardian Carers Support Group

A monthly support group for any parent or guardian of a child with a disability or additional needs (even if undiagnosed). Come along to connect, increase your knowledge and allow yourself some time to look after your own wellbeing, recharge and learn how to practice selfcare.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

The monthly meetings will provide a mixture of formal and informal support, with the main focus being around the recognition of how much a Carer gives of themselves and how you can also therefore care for your own wellbeing. The group will provide: Peer-to-Peer Support, Professional Speakers, Workshops, Access to Resources, Connection to Local Supports and Services. Children are also welcome to attend.
