Mansfield Support Group for Carers and People with Special Needs Inc

We are a self help group for individuals and families of people with special needs and their carers. We meet regularly for peer support, social engagement, NDIS support and information, information sharing and resourcing including guest speakers and workshops, and community participation activities supporting inclusion and awareness.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Regular morning coffee get togethers to reduce social isolation and promote sharing of experience and knowledge, NDIS Roundtables to help each other with issues surrounding plans and participation, guest speakers on issues of relevance, special occasion events ( eg Carers Week, IDPWD) Involvement in community forums around access and inclusion.

Is there a cost?

Yes. Membership is $10 per family per annum, however we welcome all carers to our events whether they are members or not
