CREATIVE CARERS is a monthly Art Gathering in Upwey. BYO Creative projects & supplies Bring a plate to share, snacks if you wish BYO old art supplies for our buy, swap & sell trading table We provide Refreshments & a safe and inclusive environment Your host & Creative Director is Christina Johns, a seasoned carer & advocate for mental health, She is a qualified Artist, Life Coach, and Author. Lots of onsite parking The venue is located opposite the Upwey Train Station Bookings Essential.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Any and all types of creative practice is welcome including reading a book. The point of this gathering is to bring carers together for a sacred space of rest and refreshment, where you don't have to explain your caring role if you don't want to. Christina can help with all of your creative challenges, and will also bring a comprehensive range of acrylic paint that you can help yourself to for the cost of a donation.
