Cool Country Carers - Carers Support Group Trentham

This is a project of Lions club of Trentham. The purpose of the Carer Support Group is to bring carers together in a secure environment to support each other and to discuss the impact the caring role has on their lives. We endeavor to facilitate group and one-on-one discussions and share information that supports, informs and builds the capacity of carers. We also strive to have fun and to encourage other carers and relevant parties to join and participate in our group to enhance health and wellbeing of carers.

What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

We meet for a coffee and chat, guest speakers and peer support activity.
