Central Highlands Mental Health Carers Peer Support Group
The Central Highlands Mental Health Carers Peer Support Group is a self-facilitated peer support group that meet once a month locally in Ballarat.
They discuss mental health and wellbeing issues in their caring role and the wider community, exchanging resources and information. The Grampians Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centre for families and carers have been asked to support the group to book guest speakers and meeting spaces. The contact person is not paid to support the group. The people we care for are able to attend meetings on a case-by-case basis.
