Carers Victoria delivers education sessions for individual carers and groups. Designed from evidence based practice, these sessions support you to develop skills to support you in your caring role, gain knowledge to navigate complex support service systems and enhance your health and wellbeing.
Carer workshops are FREE to carers unless indicated and are scheduled on our public calendar. Topics are divided into categories to help you find what you are looking for.
Our Education Team will run workshops for a group of ten or more carers at the time and place you choose. Programs can be customised or developed to suit needs.
To book or for more information on our workshops please send us an enquiry.
Are you caring for someone aged 65 or older, or aged 50 or older for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. CHSP helps older Australians access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home. Carers Victoria is here to help. Let one of our compassionate, qualified team members support the person you care for while you take a well-earned break to do the things you enjoy.
Service can be provided in the home or out in the community supporting activities the person you
care for enjoys. You choose the option that works best.
This service is provided to eligible people living in the following catchment areas: Brimbank City Council, Hobsons Bay Council, Maribyrnong City Council, Melbourne City, Melton City Council, Moonee Valley Council and Wyndham City Council.
