Introduction to Services and Supports for Carers Workshop in Bairnsdale

Join other carers at Club Eastwood to learn about the support services that are available to carers followed by afternoon tea.

About this event

Do you provide care or support to a person who is frail or aging? This free event will provide you with information to empower you in navigating the carer support and benefits system. You will also connect with other local carers in a relaxed social environment.  

Afternoon tea will include light refreshments. You can specify any dietary requirements when completing registration. 

Topics include:

  • Support services for carers such as the Carer Gateway, and Victorian Support for Carers Program
  • Information on organisations that provide support to carers across Victoria
  • The role of Carers Victoria.

Who can attend

This event is open to all carers who are caring for an older person with support needs, but will be relevant to all carers.
