Community of Practice Volunteer/Unpaid Facilitator Program. Practical support for setting up or running your Carer Support Group within this free five-session program.

 

Wed 12/2/25 -Attracting and maintaining membership of your Carer Support Group.

Wed 9/4/25 -Ways to get the money, and other resources, your group needs.

Wed 11/6/25 -Building positive relationships and communication within your group.

Wed 13/8/25 -Establishing boundaries and responding to conflict when it occurs.

Wed 15/10/25 -Sharing the load, planning ahead and facilitator self-care.

Are you currently running or supporting a Carer Group? Are you considering establishing a new carer support group?

Join our Community of Practice for Volunteer (unpaid) Facilitators of Carer Support Groups. There are five sessions in total available across 2025, each offering different practical skills and ongoing opportunities to connect with your peers.

These sessions will focus on sharing experience, skills and knowledge.

Participants are encouraged to attend every session to build relationships and connections, however you are welcome to join at any stage and it is possible to attend individual sessions that are of interest. Each session will focus on a specific topic.

Please register individually for sessions you plan to attend.

Attendance is free and we welcome new members. Zoom link will be provided following registration.

 

Who can attend?

Carer Support Group Facilitators. All carers who facilitate Carer Support Groups in their own time or with minimal support are welcome to join this group (Unpaid or Volunteer).
