About this event
This workshop is part of a Learning Program for unpaid/volunteer facilitators and Carer Support Group members. A series of five online workshops designed to help experienced and new volunteer facilitators and group members to run effective carer support groups. All sessions include a combination of new information and opportunities to share your valuable knowledge.
Promoting your Carer Support Group
– explore ways to attract new members to your group
– how to make the most of social media
– introduction to developing flyers using Canva online graphic design platform (how to upload a free version)
– share your tips for promotion success
Who should attend
Volunteer or unpaid organisers and facilitators of Carer Support or peer groups and yarning circles. Relevant for both new and established Groups.
About the presenters
Kim Repcak and Sally Camilleri are Carer Educators at Carers Victoria. Both have many years of experience establishing, facilitating, and supporting Carer Support Groups across Victoria and have a passion for supporting carer support groups to flourish.
