Beyond the Bedside conference by PAEDS education

1 Sep 2025 8.00am - 5.00pm

We’re proud to launch the very first Beyond the Bedside Conference—an inspiring event dedicated to strengthening the connection between healthcare and home for children with complex medical needs. This landmark conference will spark practical learning, powerful conversations, and lasting collaboration between families, clinicians, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and carers.

Together, we’re building a more connected and compassionate care system—one where every child has the opportunity to thrive, and every family feels informed, empowered, and supported. 📊

Why it matters: Research shows that better continuity of care—where families, medical teams, and allied health professionals collaborate—leads to improved outcomes, fewer hospital admissions, and a higher quality of life for children and caregivers alike. This one day conference will feature guest speakers including Dr Golly, Paediatrician, author and Father of 3 Dr Susie O’Neill, KIDS Foundation Founder and CEO Rebecca Keely, Founder and CEO of Yarn Speech and more…… In addition, Kick off your day with confidence — join our optional breakfast session to complete your annual CPR refresher. Start the morning with coffee, connection, and a certificate in hand!

Choose as an add on to your ticket. Ticket price includes Conference entry, showbag, morning tea, lunch & access to trade exhibits.
