“Sanctuary” –

Sanctuary is Michael Houlahan’s first solo exhibition and explores looking at nature in detail and isolation.

There is so much beauty that surrounds us, and as Ringo Starr once said, ‘Sometimes you’ve just got to stop and smell the roses.’

The exhibition features 20 photographs taken in Ivanhoe, Melbourne Botanic Gardens, Sydney Botanic gardens, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne Botanic Gardens, Warburton Lily Farm, The Towamba River Wyndam, Sandy Creek Farm and Ubud Bali.

With Sanctuary, the gallery space has been transformed into a tranquil space for escape, and to reconnect with the beauty that surrounds us.
