Advocacy & Appeals Made Simple Workshop – MyTime Officer

Please join us for the interactive workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to advocate for your child, appeal NDIS plan decisions and understand your rights. During this session, you will learn about internal reviews, Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) applications, and how to advocate effectively for your child to get the best outcome for their plan.

This session will be presentated by Mari Mohamed who is a Lived Experience Advocate and Disability Support Coordinator for Chapter One Services.

This event is free to attend and morning tea is provided. Preschool aged children (0-6 years) are welcome. While you join the session, a MyTime play leader will engage children in meaningful play nearby.

MyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection, support, and resources in a safe and welcoming space.

Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay, or chronic medical conditions.

RSVP: Spaces are limited—registration is essential.
