If you’re raising a young person with disability, you will be thinking about how to support and plan for their life after school.

Join ACD throughout August for A Good Life. This series of webinars is dedicated to helping you gain the skills and information to support and navigate your child’s growing independence.

Each week, there will be a free online webinar where professionals with children with disability will share important information on four key topics:

  • NDIS Support Post School This webinar will share the most current and relevant information available to help you plan your child’s post-school needs.Presented by Virginia Wiggins and Toni Spotswood from the NDIA Vic/Tas Community Engagement team.
  • Wills and Estate Planning This webinar will guide you through the process of setting up a Will and Powers of Attorney, so you can plan your child’s future security. Presented by Margaret Duncan, Principal Lawyer at Duncan.Legal
  • Panel Discussion – post-school options Panelists will share experiences about: Volunteering post-school, TAFE programs and Inclusive employment support. Hosted by Mandy Hose, former co-host of Too Peas In A Podcast.
  • Supporting Friendships In this webinar you will learn strategies to help your young person develop strong, respectful, and lasting friendships. Presented by Jodi Rodgers, an Author and relationship specialist featured on Love on the Spectrum.
