This engaging workshop by Bunnings invites parents and carers to create their own mosaic solar light while enjoying a relaxing and social experience. Participants will design and assemble colourful glass pieces onto a solar lantern, learning simple mosaic techniques in a supportive, step-by-step environment.
The session encourages creativity, mindfulness, and connection with others, offering you a much needed break from daily responsibilities. No prior experience is required, and all materials are provided.
This event is free to attend, and morning tea is provided. Preschool aged children (0-6 years) are welcome. While you join the session, a MyTime play leader will engage your children in meaningful play nearby.
MyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection, support, and resources in a safe and welcoming space.
Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay, or chronic medical conditions.
