Nillumbik Dementia Friendly Alliance – Memory Care Cafés @Diamond Creek

The Nillumbik Dementia Friendly Alliance’s standout program is the Memory Care Café, a welcoming space designed to provide carers with a moment to relax while their loved ones engage in meaningful activities nearby. The café operates with a unique approach for everyone involved, from activity organisers to volunteers serving drinks and cake and it brings lived experience of dementia, creating a compassionate and understanding environment.

The Memory Care Café hosts eight drop-in style sessions each month across the Nillumbik Shire, offering regular opportunities for connection, support, and respite.
