The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Ringwood Blokes is a relaxed catch up for males who care for autistic kids\, families or partners. \nIt’s a chance to connect over a meal with others who understand your journey and chat with our carer peer support team\, all with lived experience\, about available services and supports. \nTogether\, we’ll explore opportunities in a safe and supportive environment—and who knows? We might even solve the world’s problems over a drink or two! \nCost is $32 per person – includes a choice from our selected menu and one hot or cold drink choice (soft drink\, wine\, pot of beer or hot chocolate\, tea or coffee).
